1The service
Tilio (TilioClass) is software that helps teachers and education centers manage classes, students, timetables, attendance, grades, tuition, payroll and expenses, and optionally create online classrooms with Google Meet or Zoom. The service is provided through a web browser.
2Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a guardian's consent, to open an account.
- Registration details must be accurate, especially your email — it is how you recover your password.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity under your account. If you suspect it is compromised, change your password and sign out unfamiliar devices in Settings.
- Staff and assistant accounts are created and granted permissions by you; you are responsible for their actions within those permissions.
3Student data belongs to you
You keep full rights to the data you enter. We do not own it, sell it or use it for anything other than running the service for you.
In return, you agree to enter only data you are entitled to process — including obtaining parental consent where the law requires it and informing parents where their child's data is stored. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Receipt and parent portal links you create can be opened by anyone who has the link. Think before posting them in large group chats, and revoke them when no longer needed.
4Plans and payment
- New accounts get a free 14-day trial with all features, no student limit and no card required.
- If the trial ends without a plan, the account switches to read-only mode: you can still view and download all data, but cannot add, edit or delete until you buy a plan.
- Paid plans are prepaid per billing period. Prices are listed on our website and include tax where applicable.
- If a plan expires or its limits are exceeded, the account switches to read-only mode until it is renewed or usage is brought within limits.
- We do not automatically refund unused parts of a period. If a problem is caused by a system error, contact us and we will handle it case by case.
- Prices may change; changes apply only from the next billing period and are announced in advance.
5Prohibited use
- Using the service for unlawful purposes, or entering data you have no right to process.
- Probing for vulnerabilities, attacking, overloading or interfering with the system.
- Accessing another account's data, or sharing an account with people outside your organization to bypass plan limits.
- Copying, reselling or sublicensing the software under your own name.
- Uploading malware or content that infringes the rights of others.
For serious violations we may suspend or terminate the account. Except where immediate action is required, we will notify you first and give you time to download your data.
6Third-party services (Google, YouTube, Microsoft, Zoom, Zalo)
When you connect Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Zoom or Zalo, your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. Tilio only uses the permissions you grant, and only for the feature you requested.
- Zoom meetings are created in your own Zoom account; you need a Zoom plan suitable for your classes (free Basic accounts end group meetings after 40 minutes).
- You are responsible for how you share meeting links with students and parents.
- You can disconnect any service at any time in Settings → Connected apps, and remove Tilio from the provider's side (for Zoom: App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps).
YouTube. Uploading videos to your center's YouTube channel uses YouTube API Services. By connecting or using this feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Videos are uploaded to the center's own channel; the center is responsible for the video content, for obtaining parental consent before recording and publishing videos of students, and for each video's visibility. How Tilio handles YouTube data is described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy. You can revoke Tilio's access via the Google security settings page.
See the Zoom integration guide for details.
7Backups
We do not automatically back up each account's data. Please download a copy of your data regularly in Settings → Profile → Download data; you can restore from that file when needed. Deleted students, sessions or accounts cannot be restored from your side.
8Service level
We work to keep the service running correctly, but it is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will never be interrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. There may be maintenance windows.
Financial figures in the software (tuition, payroll, expenses) are calculated from the data you enter. Please check them before using them for real payments or tax filings.
9Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid Tilio in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost revenue, lost opportunities or loss of reputation. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10Termination
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may end the service with reasonable notice, in which case you will have time to download your data.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation, and otherwise by a competent court in Vietnam.
